| Hotel
Reservations The meeting hotel is the Radisson Resort, 500 Padre Blvd., South Padre Island, Texas 78597. Group rates are $160 for cabana rooms and $290 for condos. These group rates are available for arrival June 1 and check out June 7, provided you inform the hotel you are with the Texas Statewide Telephone meeting. Call the hotel for reservations at 956-761-6511 or 1-800-292-7704. Your credit card will be charged for the amount of the deposit. Guaranteed reservations must be canceled 72 hours prior to arrival or you will be charged for one night. PLEASE NOTE: The cutoff for our room block is May 13, 2008. Rooms will sell out quickly so we encourage you to make your reservations as soon as possible. Transportation/Directions If you’re driving to the Island from the Harlingen Airport, it’s about 40 miles and takes around 45 minutes. If you are renting a car, ask for a map and directions. Follow these directions from the airport: Exit the airport to the Stop sign. Turn left on go 5 miles. Turn left on Expressway 77; go 10 miles. Exit at Highway 100 (South Padre Island). Proceed through several small towns and Port Isabel. After you cross the causeway to the Island, turn left on Padre Boulevard. Go 2 blocks to the Radisson Resort. |
