POLITICAL ADVOCACY The TSTCI Political Advocacy Program created to enable member companies and individuals to work with TSTCI and other trade associations to help support selected candidates for state offices. The basic goals of the political advocacy program are to promote the election of candidates who support the rural telecommunications industry, create ongoing TSTCI political networks, along with establishing and/or enhancing relationships with office holders for the benefit of individual member companies, as well as for the rural telecommunications industry. This program provides opportunities for member companies and individuals to actively participate in a candidate's race, showing support that enhances our ability to be heard on issues directly affecting the rural telecommunications industry. This participation can include: Supporting chosen candidates in publications Participating in fundraising events to benefit chosen candidates Direct mailings supporting chosen candidates Involvement in campaigns of chosen candidates *Remember...* Together Everyone Accomplishes More!
