VOTER IMPACT
When major issues are up for
consideration, lawmakers want to keep their constituents happy.
That means they have to consider what the voters in their
particular area want.
Whether promoting voter registration
to within your company/cooperative or targeting the general
public, this is highly visible activity that citizens of the
community will see and support. This can provide excellent
public relations opportunities for your company or cooperative.
TSTCI members serve the rural areas
and communities of Texas. Our industry employs an estimated 1300
full-time employees. TSTCI members should encourage their
employees, families and friends to register to vote in the 2008
elections.
If one vote can make a difference,
what happens when we create thousands of votes?
Remind your family, friends and colleagues -
you cannot make a difference if you do not vote and you cannot
vote if you are not registered!
