Accounting Position

Job Description: Duties will include but not limited to:

  • Maintaining accounts payable bills and records
  • Comparing p.o.s’, packing slips and invoices for accuracy
  • Paying vendors, monitoring discount opportunities, scheduling and preparing checks
  • Coding invoices based on Part 32 accounting standards
  • Analyze expense reports and reimburse employees and contractors
  • Reconciling bank and cash accounts
  • Posting payments received
  • Preparing and posting journal entries
  • Maintain inventories and continuing property records
  • Verifying credit card and ach payments
  • Checking transactions to eliminate discrepancies, be sure credit/credit memos are received
  • Use of computer, calculator, scanner, and copier
  • Maintaining ledgers and financials records

Construction Manager

Job Description:

Dell Telephone Cooperative, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled-self motivated individual with strong leadership skills and successful background in telecom construction to fill the position of Construction Manager.

Job Duties:

  • Responsible for all construction projects, including improvement and maintenance of telephone facilities.
  • Supervises construction crew which includes cable splicer’s, line and ground workers, heavy equipment operators and mechanics.
  • Supervises construction progress, ensures quality standards and completion dates
  • Trains and directs aerial and buried cable construction crews. 
  • Pre-surveys job sites to determine needs for workers, equipment, materials, parts and safety provisions. 
  • Schedules personnel for projects and makes site inspections to check public safety precautions and use of prescribed safety equipment and procedures. 
  • Responds to outside plant emergency calls. 
  • May oversee contractors installing underground conduit and cable.
  • Travel throughout ILEC/CLEC area required.
  • Provides General Manager (GM) with accurate and timely status reports, ensuring GM is fully aware of all issues.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in telecommunications, wireless infrastructure and telecom construction.
  • 5+ years of supervisory or management experience.
  • Excellent computer skills; ability to read and interpret maps.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to motivate employees, set priorities and complete tasks on time.
  • Valid driver’s license required, CDL preferred.
  • Background check required.

Position Summary:

Primarily sells business communications solutions to commercial customers. May sell complex communications equipment to residential customers. Researches and determines likely customers for equipment and services. Closes sales and initiates paperwork required to make installation and construction occur in a timely manner. Provides input to improve products and services.

Position Summary:

The Managed IT Services Technician will be responsible for Managed IT Services installations with several customers. This is both an internal and customer facing technical role. This position is responsible for providing a consistent technical resource to the customer for their IT infrastructure.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Provides technical support to Managed IT Services customers.
  • Installs and maintains all Managed IT Services customers’ Routers, Firewalls, Switches, Access and Servers.
  • Provides maintenance customers with Application Support as needed.
  • Provides all general Internet, Voice and IT support to Managed IT Services customers as required.
  • Performs all other related duties as assigned by management.*

 Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of VoIP is required. Use of Polycom and Yealink phones a plus. Experience in using Wireshark to troubleshoot SIP call failure related issues is desirable.
  • Broad foundational knowledge of IT infrastructure technologies – including Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory, IIS, TMG, ISA, SharePoint, Storage Area Networking (EMC, NetApp, or other), Data networking (Cisco, HP, Nortel), IP Telephony (Cisco, Nortel, Avaya), VMware vSphere, Citrix XenApp, MS Hyper-V etc.
  • Experience implementing and managing Alert and Performance Management (monitoring) solutions such as Intermapper, SolarWinds Orion, Kaseya, System Center Operations Manager (SCOM), or any other solutions.
  • Knowledge of company policies and procedures.
  • Experience implementing, configuring and managing Service Desk (ticketing) solutions.
  • Ability to maintain an extreme sense of urgency in all interactions with the customer.
