CVTC is seeking a highly motivated individual focused on quality customer service to join our team to fill the position of a Broadband Deployment Installer/Repairer.
General Summary
Installs, maintains, and services customer premises equipment. Typically installs copper and fiber drop wires including buried and aerial, station protectors, network interface devices, DSL as well as wireless Internet. Also performs initial wiring or rewiring for new subscriber systems. Explains equipment and services and answers customer questions. Completes all installation and repair related forms and reports.
Essential Job Functions
¨ Installs new services and equipment for subscribers by installing drop wires, station
protections and network interface devices. Wires new systems using appropriate tools.
¨ Maintains and repairs existing equipment by using test sets to locate line trouble.
¨ Determines necessary repairs which may include repairing wiring, station protectors,
ground connections, running new wires and replacing jacks, lids and pedestals as needed.
¨ Completes all installation and repair related forms and reports.
¨ Confers with customers to further determine problems and acceptable resolutions.
¨ Installs and maintains equipment for diversified telco services including wireless and fiber
services.
¨ On-Call Rotation.
¨ Must be able to climb ladder and other structures as needed; uses bucket truck when
required. Lifts and carries loads of at least 50 lbs.
¨ Promotes a positive and professional image of the company to customers, co-workers,
contractors, Management and others.
Minimum Qualifications
¨ High school diploma or equivalent.
¨ One to two years of telecommunications schooling or equivalent work experience.
¨ One to two years of experience in the installation and maintenance of telecommunications
equipment.
¨ Excellent written and oral communication skills.
¨ Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word & Excel).
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
¨ Knowledge of basic electronics, specification sheets and circuit diagrams.
¨ Knowledge of telecommunications plant equipment operations and maintenance.
¨ Knowledge of local exchange distribution network facilities.
¨ Knowledge of company products and services.
¨ Skill in operating service equipment including various hand tools and testing equipment.
¨ Ability to follow company policies and procedures.
¨ Ability to communicate with co-workers, customers and various business contacts in a
professional and courteous manner.
¨ Ability to read and interpret documents such as maps, staking sheets, and operating and
maintenance instruction manuals.
¨ Ability to pay close attention to detail.
¨ Ability to evaluate, test and repair sophisticated equipment.
¨ Ability to improve or redesign procedures for specific installation/repair problems.
¨ Ability to work independently and make sound technical decisions using information at
hand.
¨ Ability to effectively function as a team player.
¨ Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Driver’s License with a satisfactory driving record.
¨ Highly motivated and a self-starter.
¨ Tower climbing skill and ability a plus.
¨ Networking knowledge a plus.
¨ Technical experience with fiber a plus.

General Summary
Serves as primary point of contact for new customers. Assists customers with billing inquiries, new service requests, upgrades and disconnects. Completes paperwork for service applications and disconnects. Sells and promotes services of the company while dealing with new and existing customers.
Essential Job Functions
¨ Provides customer service by assisting customers with billing inquiries, new service requests, service plan changes, disconnects, service questions and concerns.
¨ Completes appropriate paperwork for service plan changes and disconnects.
¨ Handles reconnects of services of customers with late payments. Performs collection functions on delinquent accounts.
¨ Promotes and sells services to new and existing customers.
¨ Develops and sends correspondence to customers including membership letters, welcome packets, etc.
¨ Performs all other related duties as assigned by Management.
Minimum Qualifications
¨ High school diploma or equivalent plus one year of customer service experience.
¨ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
¨ Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

General Summary
Installs, configures, maintains, monitors, and troubleshoots telco’s and/or customers’ wireless network and data networks system to ensure a stable operation at all times. This includes developing, configuring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all new and existing network hardware, software, and communication links within the company and customer networks. Performs system maintenance and troubleshooting, diagnosis and repair of company and/or customer networks.
Essential Job Functions
¨ Install, configure, maintain, and monitors company networks to support organizational needs.
¨ Develop security procedures and respond to notifications to eliminate threats to network equipment.
¨ Troubleshoot and resolve network problems.

General Summary
Under supervision, plan and prepare CAD drawings for construction of new and removal or rearrangement of existing aerial and underground lines, cables, and conduits. Assist with considering existing and future service demand, available and existing lines, and economic factors to determine new construction or rearrangements and removals required. Selects construction routes and determines equipment requirements. Prepares detailed construction and installation drawings and estimates equipment, labor, and material quantities.
Essential Job Functions
¨ Plan and prepare drawings and staking sheets for new construction, removal or rearrangement of existing aerial or underground lines, cables, and conduits.
¨ Ensure compliance with RUS and industry specifications by staking all lines to be built.
¨ Organize and file necessary paperwork and staking sheets.
¨ Select routing of path creation and determines equipment requirements as appropriate.
¨ Prepare detailed construction and installation drawings. Estimates equipment, labor, and material quantities.
¨ Prepare necessary jurisdictional permits. (TxDoT, county, railroad crossing, pole attachments)
¨ Responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date facility record changes resulting from network construction using GIS Mapping system (CADTel) and facility assignment and service order management system (NISC).
¨ Requires the ability to work outside at times and meet with customers on location.
¨ Able to work with other departments in the course of work order construction and completion.
¨ Promote a positive and professional image of the company to customers, co-workers, contractors, Management, and others.
¨ Maintain a current and valid driver’s license to perform the duties of this position.
¨ Perform all other related duties as assigned by Management.
Minimum Qualifications
¨ High school diploma or equivalent plus two to four years of relevant experience.
¨ Bachelor’s degree preferred.
¨ Broadband Deployment Installer/Repairer experience preferred.
¨ Excellent writing and speaking abilities.
¨ Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint).
¨ Knowledge of CADTel and/or NISC a plus.

¨ Knowledge of telecommunications construction and engineering practices and principles.
¨ Knowledge of right-of-way easements, procedures, and policies.
¨ Knowledge and experience in telephone engineering including, but not limited to, the design of buried and aerial, copper cable and fiber optic cable is essential.
¨ Knowledge and proficiency with cable numbering in reference to color codes, binders, and buffer tubes.
¨ Knowledge and proficiency with cable numbering in reference to assignments and/or planning.

Headquartered in Tulia, Texas, the Cooperative has approximately 25 employees. The cooperative is an FCC ACAM company, and will have no issues meeting its broadband buildout obligations.
